Lavender Vroman is a writer, editor, and former journalist, film critic, and pop culture blogger. Her first graphic novel, Not Death, But Love: The Strange, Supernatural Story of Elizabeth Barrett Browning launches Sept. 22, 2026. Created with illustrator Joshua Kemble, the book was inspired by a story told by Lavender’s high school English teacher. The author developed her Brownings hyperfixation into a screenplay while majoring in English literature at University of California, Santa Barbara. She lives in Southern California with her husband, daughter, and a pug named Sugar Cookie, while obsessing over Star Wars, comic books, and romance fiction.
